Creating a Digital Twin of Your Brand Ambassador

Your ambassador, available everywhere at once

A brand ambassador or spokesperson can only be in one place at a time. A digital twin of that same person — a custom avatar built in their likeness — can greet visitors at an event, answer questions at a reception desk, and appear on your website simultaneously, all while sounding and looking like the same person your audience already recognises. For a brand that's already invested time and marketing budget in building recognition around one face, that consistency across every channel is often the whole point of going custom in the first place.

Consent comes first

This only works with the real person's agreement. faceOS creates a custom avatar of a real individual, such as a brand ambassador, only with their consent — it isn't something we do from photos or footage without the person's direct involvement, and it isn't something we'd offer to do quietly behind their back even if a client asked us to. We can also design a fully original, branded character instead, if you'd rather build a new face for the brand than use an existing one.

From a real person to a working avatar

Building a digital twin is a heavier customisation than our standard, ready-made avatars, and both the lead time and the cost depend on the specifics — ask us for details once you know roughly what you want. As a general guide, custom avatars need 2 to 3 weeks of lead time rather than the 7 days that's enough for a standard, ready-made avatar, since there's considerably more involved in matching someone's look, voice and manner convincingly than in simply deploying an avatar from our existing library of ready-made options.

Where a brand twin works best

A digital twin earns its cost when it appears across more than one touchpoint — an event stand on a 7-foot holobox, a reception desk on a 21-inch holobox, and the same personality answering questions on your website chat — rather than at a single one-off booth. It's a natural fit for real estate sales centres that want one consistent face across the entire project, which we cover in avatars in real estate sales centres, and for any brand where the spokesperson is already a recognisable part of the marketing campaign running alongside the physical placement.

What stays the same underneath

However she looks and whoever she's modelled on, a digital twin runs on the exact same faceOS software as every other avatar: she sees when someone's ready to talk, listens even in a busy space, answers in Arabic and English, shows the right content while she speaks, and can capture a lead or book a next step. You can read about these five abilities in more detail on our software page. The likeness changes; the underlying conversation engine, and everything it's capable of, doesn't change at all between a standard avatar and a custom one built in someone's image.

An alternative: a branded character instead of a real person

Not every brand has a single recognisable spokesperson, and not every brand wants to tie its digital presence to one individual's availability, contract terms or future plans. In those cases, we can design an original branded character from scratch — built for your brand rather than modelled on anyone — which sidesteps the consent question entirely and gives you a face that belongs to the brand itself for as long as you want to use it, independent of any one person's involvement.

Getting started

Because of the consent requirement and the extra design work involved, it's worth starting this conversation earlier than a standard avatar booking — particularly if you're tying the launch to an event date or a marketing campaign that's already scheduled. Tell us roughly what you have in mind — a real person's likeness or an original character, which touchpoints it needs to appear on, and your rough timeline — and we'll scope the lead time and cost from there, before anything is finalised on either side.
